Delete your PerliDial data

There is no PerliDial account
PerliDial has no sign-in and no account, and it does not have permission to use the internet. Nothing from the app ever reaches us, so there is no account to delete and we hold none of your PerliDial data.
What is on your phone, and how to remove it
PerliDial keeps these in its own private storage on the phone:
- your settings and appearance choices;
- the keypad shortcuts you set;
- the numbers you chose to block;
- the labels and marks you put on numbers;
- your own contact card, if you filled one in.
To delete all of it, either uninstall PerliDial, or open Android Settings > Apps > PerliDial > Storage > Clear storage. If PerliDial is your default phone app, choose another default phone app first (Settings > Apps > Default apps > Phone app).
If Android backup is switched on, Android may also have saved a copy of the app's data in your own Google account backup (not with us). You can remove it in Google Drive under Storage > Backups, or by turning off backup for the phone.
Your contacts and call log are not deleted
Your contacts and call history belong to Android, not to PerliDial. The app reads them from the phone and keeps no copy of its own, so removing the app does not delete them. Manage them in your phone's contacts and call settings, or in your Google account if your contacts are synced there.
Asking us by e-mail
We hold no PerliDial data about you. If you have a question about your data, or believe we hold something and want it deleted, e-mail support@perlicom.com with the subject "Delete my data" and name PerliDial. To protect you from someone else asking in your name:
- Please write from the e-mail address the request concerns.
- Before we delete anything, we send a confirmation message to that address. Nothing is deleted until you reply to confirm it.
- We refuse requests that come from a different address or on someone else's behalf, or we ask for proof that the sender is entitled to make them.
Requests are handled by a person, not automatically. We reply within one month, and usually much sooner.
